QM/MM dynamics

Dear molcas developers,

I found in the TINKER source code that the maximum number of QMMM atoms it supports is 1000. Can this be solved by modifying the source code and recompiling?

Re: QM/MM dynamics

Yes, you can increase maxqmmm in tinker/source/qmmm.i and recompile. However, be aware that this (old) Tinker version is using static arrays. Accordinly, a too large maxqmmm value could result in memory overflow.
