##The remaining atoms of the structure C, Si and H employed the def2 basis set downloaded from the same website
.
The seward and the subsequent HF calculations were completed with no apparent error. However, when I checked the output I could see inconsistencies in the description of the MOs; For example, as expected in lanthanide calculations, I looked for the 7 f orbitals, but I just found one of them....So I guess that I'm doing something in a wrong way.
Any help will be highly appreciated.....

Are you just looking at the log file? Could it be that the "missing" orbitals are just high in energy and not printed out (see PROR keyword)?

Thank you for your reply!
In fact, I just tried employing the PRORbitals 2 1. 2 specification, but it didn't work...I don't know what else to do.

I just tried "PrOrbitals = 2 1e2 2", and it works as advertised. Maybe you have to increase the energy threshold. In any case, that's only the log file, you should have the full orbital list of coefficients in (choose your format):
$Project.ScfOrb
$Project.scf.molden
$Project.scf.h5

I understand your suggestion. In fact, looking the molden file I found some MOs with contributions of f orbitals. However, these MOs are very internal and the f contribution is almost null. So, I think maybe SARC2 basis set doesn't run properly in MOLCAS...I don't know
